Uruguay is the 32nd and last country to have qualified for the World Cup Brazil on the 20th of November 2013. Uruguay ended as number 5 of the CONMEBOL qualifications, which meant the intercontinental play-offs had to be played. Their opponent was AFC country Jordan, the winner of the continental play-offs against Uzbekistan. Their first match already convinced the world  Jordan will not play their first World Cup in 2014. The World Cup 2014 Uruguay national team crushed Jordan with a 5-0 score. Maximiliano Pereira, Christian Stuani, Nicolás Lodeiro, Cristian Rodríguez and Edinson Cavani are the goal scorers. Their 2nd match however ended in a 0-0 score. It didn’t matter, Uruguay qualified with an aggregate score of 0-5 as the last country for the World Cup. This means Brazil could have their revenge in the 2014 World Cup…or Uruguay could create another Brazilian trauma…
